This is a distance learning course offered by correspondence. There are 17 written assignments which cover the required knowledge base for Texas assisted living managers.
The assignments cover: management, human resources, resident care, finances, ethics, the Texas assisted living facility requirements, Texas rules for Advance Directives, Consent to Medical Treatment and Residents Bill of Rights.
One or two pages will be sufficient to answer most assignments. The assignments can be mailed, emailed or faxed to us.
When you finish these materials you will have a broad knowledge of and be well prepared for managing an assisted living facility and the relevant Texas rules.
