Scope of care, that is, what types and levels of care the assisted living facility can or should provide is a key issue in facility operational decisions made by the asssited living administrator and staff. In this course a number of resident care policies for establishing and maintaining quality care in the facility are presented and explored. The concept of continuous quality improvement is presented. Pressure sores are described, nutritional status is explored and the use of health care records is explored.
