Understanding the Financial Documents in the Assisted Living Facility (2 CEUs) 

Exploration of the administrator's role as financial manager.  Presentation of the basic steps in accounting, e.g., chart of accounts, the journal, the general ledger, balance sheet.  Discussion on how to prepare and interpret financial statements such as the income statement and balance sheet.  How to "close the books."  Presentation of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP's).
