Understanding the impacts on the assisted living industry of: Medicare, Medicaid, the Older  Americans Act.  Labor and management laws and regulations the assisted living manager must follow, e.g, Wagner Act, Taft-Hartley Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and several other laws that apply to the assisted living industry.  Examination of workers' compensation as it affects the facility.
